Stadium shot

After all the kissing, we lined up on the stairs for a group photo.

Usually there are lots of group pictures at weddings

• The newlyweds and the bridesmaids
• The newlyweds and the groomsmen
• The newlyweds with the bridesmaids and groomsmen
• The newlyweds and the parents
• The newlyweds and the grandparents
• The bride and the bridesmaids
• The bride and the groomsmen
• The bride and her friends from college
• The groom and his friends from college
• The groom and his ex-girlfriends (just checking if you're reading all of the possibilities)
• The bride with all the flowers
• The newlyweds with all the neighborhood pets
• The photographer
• The newlyweds with the priest

Except for the obvious nonsense, I've seen all of these kinds of pictures and more taken at weddings. The result: an hour-long photo session.

Kinga and I decided to forego that and take just one big group shot then. The plan was to take some of the above shots later in the evening, but it never happened.

Finally, after the most stressful part of the day (i.e., the church formalities), it was time to head to the party.
