Kinga
Anna Jędruś agreed in October 2003 to marry me; it finally
all came to fruition 14 August 2004. Here's the story ("of
a lovely lady") of how it all came together.
Kinga and I basically got married three times.
- The first time was when we appeared before a judge to
have a specific requirement waived. (Read
the whole silly account.) We basically said the same
thing we repeated at the civil wedding.
- And of course the civil wedding
was the second time Kinga and I got married. Kinga went
ahead and made a wedding album
from that, so we'll actually have three weddings and
two wedding albums.
- And the third: the "real" wedding at the church.
Lost? Don't know where to
click to go to the next page? Bad web design
is to blame. Just click "TOC"
(upper and lower right corners) and it'll take
you to the Table of Contents (imagine that)
and highlight where you came from (thought
it doesn't work for this page — come
on, you've just started. You can't possibly
be lost already!) Usually, though, look at
the bottom of each page for the link to the
next page.
Gary włożył w tą stronę tyle
pracy, że samej trudno było mi w to uwierzyć.
Wszystko jest bardzo funkcjonalnie rozwiązane,
i tak, zawsze wystarczy kliknąć TOC żeby wrócić
do spisu treści wszystkich stron z wesela.
Do tego Gary dołożył jeszcze taki mały bajer,
stronka, którą poprzednio oglądaliście podświetli
się na zielono.
Additionally, many of the images are available
in a large format. Just mouse over them and
see if it's a link. (A little hint for the
not-so-Internet-savvy: the cursor turns into
a hand if it's a link!) |
All told, about ten months passed from the evening I proposed
(at a wedding, ironically) to the actual day.
There was obviously a lot of preparation in the meantime, between
the civil and church weddings:
Finally, everything was ready: the cakes baked; the vodka prepared;
the car washed — everything.
And then it all began: Saturday 14 August 2004. And so, to begin
at the beginning, we must start at my
arrival at Jabłonka.
